Course Details
Train to become a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor with our City & Guilds-approved Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment, delivered through three intensive live online training days. This course combines expert-led Zoom sessions with practical learning, giving you the knowledge and confidence to begin producing Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
Over three consecutive weekdays, you'll learn directly from experienced industry trainers in a live virtual classroom where you can ask questions, take part in discussions and work through real-world examples. Following the live training, you'll receive access to the SAMS online learning portal for six months, allowing you to revisit the course materials, practise using EPC software and complete your assessment portfolio at your own pace.
Throughout your qualification, your dedicated tutor will provide guidance on carrying out domestic property assessments, producing accurate EPCs, using EPC software correctly and compiling your portfolio evidence. Assessment & Assignment
To achieve your Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, you will complete a portfolio consisting of five domestic property assessments together with the required portfolio assignments. Your dedicated tutor will continue to support you after the live training, providing guidance on carrying out property assessments, using EPC software, gathering portfolio evidence and successfully completing your assignments.
