2-Day Weekend Domestic Energy Assessor Course | Live Online Level 3 DEA Training

Train to become a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor with our City & Guilds-approved Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment, delivered through an intensive two-day live online weekend course. Designed for learners who cannot commit to weekday training, this option allows you to complete your tutor-led training over the weekend without taking time away from work.

Over Saturday and Sunday, you'll learn directly from experienced industry trainers in a live virtual classroom via Zoom. The interactive sessions cover the essential knowledge and practical skills required to assess domestic properties, collect accurate survey data and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). You'll be able to ask questions, take part in discussions and work through practical property examples with your trainer.

Following the live weekend training, you'll receive six months' access to the SAMS online learning portal, where you can revisit your learning materials, develop your knowledge, practise using EPC software and complete the assessment work required for your qualification at your own pace.

Throughout your qualification, your dedicated tutor will support you with property surveys, RdSAP methodology, EPC software, evidence requirements and completion of your assessment portfolio. The two-day weekend format provides an intensive introduction to the qualification, while your continued access to SAMS and tutor support gives you the time and guidance needed to complete the remaining assessment requirements.

To achieve your Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, you will complete a portfolio consisting of five domestic property assessments together with the required portfolio assignments. Following the weekend training, your dedicated tutor will continue to support you by providing guidance on carrying out property assessments, using EPC software, gathering portfolio evidence and successfully completing your assignments.
