4-Day Classroom Domestic Energy Assessor Course | Level 3 DEA Training

Course Details
Train to become a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor with our City & Guilds-approved Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment, delivered over four intensive days of face-to-face classroom training.
This programme is designed to help you make substantial progress towards completing the qualification within a structured and supportive environment. During the four training days, you will work through the theory, EPC software training and all five domestic property case studies required for your assessment portfolio. Your tutor will guide you through the assessment process, explain the evidence requirements and support you with the portfolio assignments throughout the course.
The classroom format gives you the opportunity to ask questions as they arise, take part in practical exercises and receive immediate feedback from an experienced industry trainer. You will learn how to inspect domestic properties, record the required information, use EPC software accurately and prepare evidence that meets the qualification requirements.
To cover the practical training, case studies, and portfolio support within four days, learners will also need to complete a number of written soft-skill assignments outside the scheduled classroom hours. These may include client letters, written questions, equipment and risk-assessment tasks, and other supporting portfolio evidence. Your tutor will explain each activity clearly and provide guidance so that you know what must be completed between or after the classroom sessions.
Following the training, you will retain access to the SAMS online learning portal and ongoing tutor support while any final evidence, corrections or resubmissions are completed.
